Welcome to the home of Therafirm® Compression Socks! We are dedicated to providing the highest quality compression socks to help improve circulation and provide comfort.

Our Story

Our journey began over 30 years ago when a team of engineers set out to create the ideal compression sock. After years of research and testing, they perfected the design and launched the first Therafirm® sock in 2000.

We are proud to carry on the tradition of excellence in compression sock manufacturing right here in the USA. Our facility in Reading, Pennsylvania contains state-of-the-art equipment manned by seasoned experts in their fields. We oversee the entire process from sourcing the best materials to knitting, dyeing, and packaging the final product.

Every step is done in-house to ensure the highest quality standards.

Our Compression Socks

Therafirm® offers compression socks to meet a variety of needs. We manufacture sock styles for men, women, and children in graduated compression levels from 15-30mmHg.

Health Benefits

The graduated compression in our socks gently squeezes the legs to enhance circulation in the veins and lymphatic system. This provides many proven health benefits:

  • Helps prevent swelling and relieves tired, achy legs
  • Aids recovery after exercise by flushing out lactic acid
  • Boosts circulation to speed healing of leg wounds
  • Eases symptoms of varicose veins, edema, and thrombosis
  • Reduces risk of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) during travel

Everyday Comfort

In addition to medical uses, our compression socks also provide comfort for daily wear. The snug fit offers:

  • Extra arch and ankle support – Stabilizes joints and prevents rolling.
  • Smooth style – Sleek, non-binding fit under pants and boots.
  • Moisture-wicking – Keeps legs dry and comfortable all day.
  • Temperature regulation – Keeps legs warmer in winter but cooler in summer.

We have styles suitable for work, travel, sports, lounging, and more. Discover your perfect pair!

Quality Materials

Our compression socks are constructed from high-tech fabrics designed for comfort and durability:

  • Soft, breathable cotton – Natural moisture-wicking and hypoallergenic.
  • Smooth microfiber – Silky feel, lightweight, and stretchy.
  • Supportive spandex – Adds flexibility and calibrated compression.
  • Cushioned soles – Plush padding for shock absorption and all-day comfort.
  • Reinforced toes & heels – Added durability in high-wear areas.

We extensively test materials to find the optimal balance of comfort, function, and longevity.

Our Compression Levels

Therafirm® socks are available in different compression levels measured in millimeters of mercury (mmHg). This measurement indicates how much pressure is exerted around the ankle and up the leg.

Higher compression levels provide more support. We offer three main categories:

Light Compression (15-20 mmHg)

Ideal for:

  • Tired, aching legs
  • Mild swelling
  • Varicose veins
  • Preventing edema on long flights

Provides light support to boost circulation and relieve discomfort. Great for everyday wear.

Moderate Compression (20-30 mmHg)

Ideal for:

  • Pregnancy swelling
  • Sports recovery
  • Standing or walking all day
  • Frequent fliers
  • Chronic venous insufficiency

Delivers firmer compression to prevent swelling and stabilize muscles during activity. Wear for travel, work, or exercise.

Firm Compression (30-40 mmHg)

Ideal for:

  • Chronic edema
  • Severe varicose veins
  • Post-surgical recovery
  • Lymphedema
  • Chronic venous insufficiency

Medical-grade compression for advanced circulation support. Check with your doctor to find the right level for your needs.

We also offer compression socks and sleeves specifically designed for diabetes and neuropathy pain.
